Role and Responsibilities

  • Technical support to HVAC OEM customers during qualification and reliability activities   
  • Assist OEM customers in identifying and qualifying compressor opportunities
  • Assist as needed in developing the customer business case for new concept solutions
  • Perform detailed engineering analysis to quantify cost savings or other customer benefits
  • Develop submittals/presentations including drawings, test results, and project milestone
  • Utilizes specialized functional expertise as a sales engineer and individual project team leader with high degree of technical competence
  • Always seeks for compressor application opportunities with OEM partners
  • Provides daily interactions with Samsung sales, quality, R&D, and designated OEM partners
  • Communication channels between Korea HQ and customers during sales activities
  • Build new and maintain B2B relations by creating new business opportunities
  • Participate in trade show and exhibitions in connection with compressor business

Skills and Qualifications

Background & Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in engineering
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working in customer-facing situations
  • Dynamic personality with great leadership, management, sales and communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage tasks associated with development projects
  • Fully competent in analysis and assessment of mechanical and electronics compressor systems
  • Strong understanding of project specifications and blueprints
  • Effectively leader in team settings
  • Ability to travel approx. 30% domestic (OEM manufacturing and R&D sites)
  • Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred)
  • Problem solving
