About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the healthcare and life sciences vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and a passion for leveraging data to improve patient and provider experiences. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs of healthcare clients.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of our customer data platform to potential clients, highlighting its impact on improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

  • 4+ years of healthcare & life sciences software sales experience.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, including regulatory requirements and market trends.
  • Competency selling into mid-market and enterprise segments. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry event. 
  • Familiarity with a diverse set of selling and  forecasting methodologies. 

Desired:

  • Deep experience working with telecom companies, including ISV’s, SMS aggregators, carriers, and/or global communications platforms.
  • Software, SaaS, CPaas or PaaS selling experience preferred. 

Location

  • This role will be remote, based in the USA

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $104,400 - $130,500.
  • Based in Washington D.C., or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $110,200 - $137,750.
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $116,000 - $145,000).
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
  • This role is eligible to earn commissions. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
