NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. The world of computing is constantly evolving, and we believe that data scientists and engineers should be able to seamlessly accelerate their applications and workflows. RAPIDS, the open-source suite of accelerated data science libraries and primitives, brings accelerated computing to the wider analytics world by combining the performance of NVIDIA GPUs with the ease of use of Python, Apache Spark, and modern C++ APIs.
Today, Python is the world’s most popular programming language. It’s used for science, engineering, data analytics, deep learning, and more. We’re looking for an outstanding Technical Product Manager to help drive the development and adoption of RAPIDS in the PyData ecosystem. As a RAPIDS Product Manager, you’ll work with a community of developers, data scientists, and NVIDIA’s world-leading engineering teams to help shape the future of accelerated computing in the Python data science ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
Define and Prove - Bring together insight and market analysis to help shape how NVIDIA enables accelerating computing in the PyData ecosystem
Discover Opportunities - Work with library developers, data scientists, and engineers to discover underlying needs and incorporate them into roadmaps and priorities
Build and Deliver - Work closely with engineering to align priorities, define requirements, and implement
Sense and Respond - Engage with customers, educate the developer community, drive strategic integrations, present at conferences, and identify user difficulties
Launch Products – Collaboratively develop and implement cross-functional go-to-market strategies spanning marketing, engineering, developer relations, PR, sales, etc.
Create Assets – Work with internal and external partners to define positioning and build technical content, including blog posts, workshops, and more to share the product value proposition
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Applied Math, Computational Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, etc.) or equivalent experience
6+ years of proven experience as a technical product manager, data scientist, data engineer, machine learning engineer, or similar role
Hands on work with data science, data engineering, or machine learning problems within the PyData world
Excellent balance of deep technical and business knowledge of the data analytics space
Analytical approach and ability to synthesize user research, engineering feasibility, and market trends into product strategy
Extraordinary interpersonal skills with a validated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience collaborating with and contributing to open-source projects in the PyData ecosystem
Served as a product manager for a Python-based product
Strong programming skills and familiarity with CUDA and GPU fundamentals
