Mill Creek Residential seeks a Corporate Senior Accountant whose primary responsibility is to assist with the financial close process and support the audit process.  The ideal candidate will have multi-company/property experience and the ability to understand the consolidation process for a large number of entities.

The duties of this position include:

  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Assist with audit selections.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all corporate entities.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for construction entities.
  • Prepare monthly developer fee and GC fee analysis.
  • Review all cost centers for adjusting entries and consolidation.
  • Prepare monthly office rent vouchers and maintain straight-line rent schedule.
  • Update investment rollforward schedule.
  • Prepare pursuit rollforward schedule.
  • Prepare related party eliminating entries.
  • Review equity pick up in consolidation.
  • Prepare consolidated sub-schedule for corporate entities.
  • Oversee high volume of affiliate and intercompany transactions.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related field is required for this position. 
  • Multi-family real estate industry experience with an emphasis in construction is preferred.
  • Experience in a wide variety of accounting software systems, preferably Yardi.
