About the Role
The Director of Search Engine Marketing will be responsible for leading our search engine marketing (SEM) efforts, focusing on paid search (PPC) strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing ROI through effective search engine marketing campaigns, including landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
•Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategies to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximize ROI. 
•Leverage data and market insights to identify high-opportunity opportunities and craft strategies to drive increased growth in SEM campaigns. Continuously refine tactics to drive customer acquisition and optimize the ROI of SEM campaigns. 
•Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads. 
•Opportunity to build and lead a high-performing SEM team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement 
•Collaborate with the content and creative teams to build, test, and iterate on landing page experience to optimize PPC performance
•Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. 
•Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing. 
•Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align SEM strategies with overall business objectives. 
•Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement 
 
Qualifications: 
•10+ years of experience in search engine marketing, with a focus on PPC. 
•Proven track record of driving traffic and increasing conversions through effective SEM strategies. 
•Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools. 
•Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
•Experience with ecommerce platforms and understanding of the online retail industry is a plus.
