Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated partner to work collaboratively with Thermo Fisher Scientific's sourcing and finance teams to ensure standard vendor management strategies across the CIS team. This ambitious individual will help CIS drive saving opportunities across applicable CIS programs/projects and will also coordinate with technical owners and vendors to develop positive relationship strategies. This will help ensure CIS has the appropriate tools and techniques available to teams enabling them to meet their assigned objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate with the Thermo Fisher Sourcing team to drive standard procurement management processes within the CIS team.
  • Act as a liaison with finance and CIS Leadership for the development and management of the CIS annual operating plan and monthly forecasts
  • Support other IT teams and Business Groups in the establishment of Vendor Management programs in their respective areas of the business. This rapidly expanding initiative helps standardize vendor management,  growing  collaboration and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with the Thermo Fisher Sourcing team and partner with CIS Leaders to implement the CIS Executive Business Review program with Thermo Fisher’s top vendors.
  • Drive contract renewals with external vendors. This will involve working with CIS technical teams and vendors to extract the most value from current and future agreements. This will also drive saving opportunities across applicable CIS programs/projects.

  • Must be committed to continuous development and feedback for continued improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Sourcing, Communication or equivalent work experience. Work experience can also include project management or business analysis.

A Program Synergy Analyst will Partner with Thermo Fisher Scientific sourcing and finance teams to ensure best practice vendor management across the CIS team as well as drive synergy saving opportunities across applicable CIS programs/projects. They will also work with the CIS technical teams and vendors to develop partnership strategies to ensure CIS is extracting the most value from current and future agreements as well as the ensure appropriate tools and techniques are available and employed by teams to enable them to meet their assigned objectives successfully.

Responsibilities:
