What You’ll Do:
Check refrigeration units under actual operation against performance requirements.
Read and understand Operational Method sheets (OMS) job instructions.
Sets refrigeration units for operation and operates unit until stabilized and/or do troubleshooting when problems arise.
Sets up testing equipment as necessary and makes a variety of predetermined checks such as compressor performance, high and low pressure cut outs, dry bulb temperatures and static pressures.
Checks and tests component parts and subassemblies per Operational Method sheets OMS specifications using hand tools and computer systems.
Makes out required reports and tags, such as rejection tags and check off lists, determines causes for and reports abnormal quality conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, extreme heat and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Work from written and oral instructions, prints or sketches.
What We Look For:
3-6 months of inspecting production or machine operator experience minimum.
Basic computer skills.
Great verbal and written communications skills.
Attention to detail.
Mechanical aptitude.
Vision corrected to 20/20.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
Ability to stand, bend, stair climb, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
Capability to work in various industrial conditions (e.g., noise, heat, etc.)
