In this critical role, you will provide strategic legal and regulatory support for our global advertising and marketing initiatives. You will advise on complex legal matters relating to marketing and consumer protection, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Role Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Legal Guidance: Provide legal advice and counsel to internal teams on a broad range of marketing and consumer protection matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Document Negotiation and Drafting: Lead the negotiation and drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other legal professionals and business stakeholders to provide expert advice on advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Leadership and Development: Serve as a mentor to junior legal team members and lead initiatives aimed at improving legal processes and customer experience.

Role Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited program.
  • 5-9 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and consumer protection law, either in a corporate legal department or a law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. marketing laws and general marketing principles globally.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and deliver strategic advice that aligns with business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders.

Salary

The base salary range is $150,000 - $200,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
