What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for supporting workstreams associated to technology initiatives via project management, broad portfolio management, and governance. Responsible for providing direct support to client and end users.  Will incorporate project management, governance, process improvement, and business analysis techniques to support the delivery of technical consulting projects.

    Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Identify client needs related to IT project management, strategy, and governance and develop solutions to address these needs

  • Support the development of work plans that reflect project scope and client expectations

  • Support efforts to prepare for and facilitate client interviews, analyze qualitative and quantitative information to develop themes, identify issues and root causes, and develop recommendations

  • Develop training materials and strategic communications to promote end user adoption and project success

  • Develop standard operating procedures, job aids, and helpful resources to support end users and promote project management best practices

  • Support facilitation of strategic planning, training, process definition, and/or business requirements gathering sessions with client staff

  • Conduct quality reviews of project management artifacts and provide suggestions for refinement

  • Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting in support of data calls

  • Develop presentations and work products with a keen eye towards quality


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 years of professional experience

  • Working knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and best practices

  • Experience with performance measurement and/or evaluation: collecting qualitative and quantitative data, performing data analysis, and visualizing or reporting data

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Business and technical writing experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • 2+ year of consulting experience

  • 1+ of experience supporting federal clients

  • Experience developing reports for and briefing senior executives

  • Working knowledge of CDC’s Enterprise Performance Life Cycle and previous experience within CDC

  • Understanding of Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC)

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing or abiding by IT governance practices

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or performance measurement certification

  • Experience developing proposal and white papers for federal clients

  • Proficiency with Power BI or other dashboarding/visualization tools

  • Experience facilitating meetings, trainings, requirements gathering, or workshops with clients
