We are seeking a strategic and analytical Workforce Planning Lead, Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing workforce planning strategies that align with our organizational goals. This role involves forecasting future staffing needs, analyzing labor market trends, and ensuring that the company effectively manages its resources to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the workforce planning strategy across the organization, integrating business, financial, and HR perspectives to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable workforce plans.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of current workforce composition, skill sets, and future needs to identify gaps and areas for strategic investment.
  • Partner with recruitment, talent development, and other HR functions to design and implement solutions that address workforce challenges.
  • Forecast and model future staffing needs based on business growth scenarios, turnover rates, and other relevant factors.
  • Monitor and analyze labor market trends and their potential impact on the organization's ability to attract and retain talent.
  • Develop and maintain workforce metrics and dashboards to provide ongoing insights to senior management.
  • Lead change management initiatives related to workforce planning and restructuring efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to workforce planning and employment.
  • Manage and mentor a team of workforce planning analysts or specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in workforce planning, human resources, or a closely related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and workforce planning tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$160,400 - $254,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
