Purpose

Point of contact with Global Vaccines Supply Chain (Central Planning team) in the development of the site’s production plan within the Core Commercial Cycle (24 months).

Involve & manage the production planning/scheduling for Singapore Site using the agreed planning principles & way of workings within each production facilities.

Lead E2E meeting with the various stakeholders on site in ensuring the smooth execution of site’s production strategy in order to meet customer’s demand by aligning and communicating Singapore’s approved production plan across functions and businesses especially in the frozen horizon i.e. the end-to-end process from raw material reception to the final delivery of product.

Facilitator of regular operational cross functional meetings to review supply plan, priorities alignment and escalation to management to achieve timely delivery of commercial products to our customers.

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with GVSC and local stakeholders to produce the production plan within Core Commercial Cycle i.e. across 24 months.

  • To have full ownership in the management/ anticipation of production plan with frozen period.

  • To manage the production planning/ scheduling for Singapore Site. (weekly level for a rolling 24 months)

  • To understand and adapt the different planning principles within each production facilities for effective production scheduling

2. Creation/ Maintenance of planned orders in APO and ensures no duplication of process/ planned orders in SAP.

3. Interfaces with multiple stakeholders (VS, QC, QA, SCM, TS and PE) in translating site’s production from plan to execution till final products’ delivery.

4. Provides weekly information and guidance to the team regarding status of schedules and deliveries

  • Conduct the weekly Site’s End-to-End meeting.

  • Follow up on the issues escalated in the meeting till closure.

  • Facilitate non-routine sampling request in E2E meeting.

  • Tracks and reports all relevant KPIs with respects to End-to-End process (to achieve an efficient site Supply Chain)

5. Monitor progress against scheduling needs and intervenes when necessary with recommendations to bring deliveries back into compliance with the endorsed plan.

  • Prompt escalation and communication of any supply issues in alignment with Business needs by identifying and bringing resolution to any demand/ supply imbalances.

6. Preparation of the monthly slide deck for Cluster Supply Review Meeting (SRM) discussions across Bulk primary operation Sites.

  • Data collection needed for SRM & graphs reporting.

  • Generate monthly reports for global reporting to monitor the site performance, e.g. stock analysis, volume adherence to plan, QA release lead-time.

  • Indicate any success stories and/or escalations of issues or risk to Global team.

7. Ensure timely maintenance of Business Master Data (planning related) in a compliant and accurate manner to facilitate smooth operations in accordance with GSOP/ LSOP and standards.

  • Participates in the monthly Site Master Data meeting.

8. Facilitate and manage the monthly Site Non-Commercial Demand (NCD) Alignment meeting across functions.

  • Engage stakeholders in the alignment & resolution of Site’s commercial and non-commercial demands within the capacities available on site.

  • Output of the meeting will be entered into the next Cycle’s load planning.

9. Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and EHS requirements of the site by ensuring that safety and GMP audits are properly and regularly conducted.

10. Manage projects (Supply Chain related and Transversal) as assigned by Head of Department.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Business/ Supply Chain Management/ Science discipline with min 5 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing environment

  • Min 7 to 10 years relevant experience and proven track record for senior position

  • APICS certification is good to have

  • Manufacturing background

  • Understanding of production facilities/ equipment

  • Sound knowledge in supply chain management processes

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferably)

  • Good Microsoft Office applications skills esp. in Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Basic commercial/ financial awareness

  • Good & effective communication skills

  • Scenario planning

  • Good knowledge of business dynamics & supply chain processes

  • Good presentation skills
