JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Budgeting: Generates a reference file summarizing all detailed historical transactions (e.g. past 12 months).
  • Plots the consolidated schedules to the Plan files.
  • Computes for wages-related and other expenses, not obtained from other departments.
  • Performs preliminary review of reasonableness and accuracy of the results.
  • Facilitates departmental meetings on annual and mid-year plans.
  • Distributes plan reports to Department Heads.
  • Process Costing : consolidates the input files and calculates the standard cost of each Test, Pretest and Probe resource.
  • Monthly Variance Analysis:  compares historical results against budgets, performing variance analysis to explain difference in performance and make improvements going forward.
  • Prepares Monthly Financial Dashboards such as Average Repairs per Tool, and other tools deemed necessary for management’s analysis.
  • Weekly Repairs Forecast: reviews the forecast as prepared by the Senior Financial Planning Analyst; in his absence, gathers details of month-to-date actual expenses and Purchasing Forecast and consolidates all data into one template.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Preferably be a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting and Finance
  • At least 3 years supervisory experience
