CACI's Global Enterprise Services program is seeking a Systems Engineer Manager to support its Maryland customers.


What You’ll Get to Do:

● Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of system engineers and operations staff.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including task assignment, managing backlog of efforts and prioritizing implementation, performance management, and professional development.

● Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Exchange, Active Directory, Web Services, and SharePoint environments.

  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of these critical systems.

  • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue resolution.

● Operational Support:

  • Provide operational support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.

  • Manage desktop patching schedule and imaging processes to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VDI, desktop environments, and system integrations.

● Project Management:

  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution and deployment.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope and budget.

● Documentation and Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and policies.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 25 years of experience and HS/GED OR bachelor’s in Information Technology Systems Management, IT/Computer Science and 20 years of experience. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Active Directory

  • Imaging Services

  • Microsoft Exchange Administrator

  • Server Patching

  • SharePoint Administration

  • Strong technical background with expertise in enterprise IT services

  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

  • Web services technology

  • IAT Level 2

  • CompTIA Security+ CE

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Certification Training

  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, strategic planning, and project management

  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

    Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $119,800 - $263,600
