What You'll Do:

AB-PCI is looking for an Analyst/Associate to work as part of the Portfolio Management & Compliance team, which is responsible primarily for maintenance and reporting of the various AB-PCI investment vehicles.  The role will support the growing business and team. AB-PCI has grown significantly over recent years and high caliber talent is needed to help support continued business growth, improve processes, and scale operations. The role will initially have responsibilities related to treasury and liquidity management, fund level finance, and financing subsidiary operations, but offers the ability to grow and change as the team continues to grow.  Initial responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Work with Trustee, Fund Administrator and external service provides on all operational issues
  • Assist with day-to-day liquidity management to ensure funding obligations are met thru use sub level finance facilities.
  • Will assist with the asset allocation strategy and process, cash forecasting and analysis, and monitoring of all related activity.
  • Provide functional and operational support to the credit team as needed
  • On a monthly basis review, reconcile and approve Monthly CLO Borrowing Base Trustee Reports and on quarterly basis approve waterfall payments.
  • Manage all reporting requirements such as the effective date declaration issuance, yearly agreed upon procedures, delivery of compliance certificates and financial reporting requirements for the underlying obligors and asset level
  • Run “hypothetical scenarios” for all new asset purchases to ensure compliance and optimization

What We're Looking For:

​We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 2+ years of experience within a financial services or audit firm, preferably in a treasury/cash operations role from an alternative asset manager, trustee/fund admin, or big 4 audit firm
  • Experience reading and interpreting legal documents such as CLO indentures, warehouse agreements and credit agreements
  • Team oriented individual that will work closely with teammates on daily workflows and shares key information with the team
  • Proactive, self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, adapt and make decisions in a fast and challenging environment where tasks can change daily
  • High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with fund structures, loan agreements, and CLO indentures.
  • Familiarity with Sentry PM and PowerBi is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Sentry PM is a plus.
