This opportunity is part of our Career Comeback program within our Chief Operating Office (COO) team. You’re an experienced professional who’s taken a career break of two years or more, and are looking to return to the workforce. The program will start on Monday 10th March 2025.

Run over 12 weeks, the paid program is designed to provide you with the re-entry support and training you need to thrive. At the end of the program, permanent positions are available based on your performance and motivation to succeed.

Business Banking Operations, including CommSec Operations, is focused on providing fast, seamless and superior service driven by our customer obsessed team.

The Senior Associate role sits in CommSec Operations as a 2IC to the Team Manager and is accountable for both day-to-day processing of customer requests as well as escalations, training and mentoring. The Senior Associate also supports strategic and tactical uplift as well as risk management uplift.

More specifically, this CommSec Operations team focusses on providing timely and high-quality support to Estate representatives, solicitors and related parties, as well as managing in-life account maintenance requests. This includes being responsible for appropriate duties and care towards deceased estates and maintenance CommSec accounts ensuring our customers enquiries are answered, actioned and handled with care.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Taken a career break of 2+ years and are interested in returning to work
  • Relevant professional experience within Operations/Back Office within the financial services industry
  • Strong attention to detail, risk management and mentoring experience.
  • Permanent Australian working rights and are Sydney based
