In this role you will work as a leader in our Digital Product team, focusing on creating exceptional experiences that address the core needs of our Receiver customer. You will own and set the strategy for a product line and be accountable for execution upon that strategy.  You will lead a team of Product Owners to help drive execution upon your vision and strategy. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap that enhances the receiver experience ultimately leading to higher retention and customer lifetime value.
  • Unlock the Sender to Receiver relationship and develop experiences that serve a Receiver as a primary customer
  • Deliver insights to customers in an experience flow that supports their Core MT actions
  • Own product across all product development lifecycle phases, from product ideation, conceptualization to development and commercialization, ensuring seamless customer experiences and revenue growth.  
  • Responsibility for conducting comprehensive market research and gathering valuable customer insights that will be used to inform our product development and strategy.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings and new product innovations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that product features and benefits align with customer needs.
  • Partner closely with engineers, operations, product marketing, sales, customer success, risk, and finance to ensure our customers are at the center of everything we build.  
  • Lead the product launch activities, including communication with stakeholders, market positioning and operations.
  • Provide ongoing product performance analysis and market recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with Western Union senior leadership, cross functional, regional leaders for products and ideas on forward looking Fintech and money movement products. 
  • Act as a people leader and build a high quality and high performing team. 

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in building Consumer-facing mobile/app products at scale for millions of users.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful product strategies.
  • Has an impeccable understanding of data, and metrics and follows data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in leading product launch activities, including communication with stakeholders, market positioning and operational readiness.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering product performance analysis and market recommendations for improvement.
  • Knowledge of agile product development methodologies would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Can collaborate, build trust, and navigate through teams and geographies to build products that delight our global customers.
  • Experience in building FinTech products for omnichannel customers (retail and digital).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Salary
The annual base salary range is $121,774.62 - 202,957.70 USD Annual per year. This role is also eligible to receive short-term and long-term incentive bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
