About the Role

The incumbent’s main responsibilities are supporting Appointed Actuary on HNW product pricing review and ALM initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team on the review and setting of strategic asset allocation.
  • Support on ALM (Asset-Liability management) initiatives.
  • Lead the team on the review HNW product pricing and campaign assessment. Ensure the product design and pricing meets all the regulatory and internal requirement.
  • Drive the enhancement of working tools for business requirements.
  • Managing and developing the team
  • Strong actuarial technical knowledge and experience in ALM and product pricing.
  • Timely and accurate submission of internal and regulatory reports.
  • Adhere with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Highlight key financial / actuarial issues to management with the proposed management actions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Actuarial Science or relevant
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in Actuarial
  • Qualified actuary from a recognized international actuarial body
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, commercial acumen and superior analytical skills
  • Experience of management of a team or proven coaching ability
