In this role, you will support the Ameriprise Advisor Center (AAC) that provides clients with personalized financial guidance and support in a centralized distribution model where advisors and staff working in a dynamic team-based environment.

This role will support the AAC operations team to deliver digital customer experience capabilities for AAC advisors. and clients using Salesforce and other Ameriprise integrated technologies.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in Salesforce Sales Cloud administration, configuration, and customization activities. Good understanding of objects and relationships in Salesforce. Have knowledge/learn Salesforce configurations and best practices for integrating with marketing automation tools (Marketing Cloud). Have knowledge/learn designing, developing, and implementing analytic solutions using Salesforce CRM Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in firsthand training to gain expertise in Salesforce administration, including Marketing Cloud and CRM Analytics.
  • Active AAC Operations team member who develop the understanding of the client and advisor experience to support how salesforce drives sales, marketing, and data analytics in the AAC.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform releases, tools, and data management best practices.
  • Assist in creating custom Salesforce workflows, processes, and validations to support sales and marketing operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze business needs and design basic data-driven solutions in Salesforce.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and marketing platforms to enable seamless campaign management and data flow.
  • Assist in configuring Salesforce objects, fields, and page layouts to meet marketing and data reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to data quality efforts, such as data cleaning, deduplication, and standardization within Salesforce.
  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting Salesforce solutions to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  • Attend Agile Scrum meetings, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to gain insights into project workflows.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and data teams to understand their requirements and provide technical support.
  • Report challenges promptly and collaborate with mentors to resolve issues.
  • Manage all users, permissions, and other security controls in Salesforce and related applications, including maintenance of user roles, profiles, security settings, and access settings. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, and Security).
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, approval processes, and validation rules.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards leveraging Salesforce CRM reporting along with Salesforce CRM analytics dashboards.
  • Prepare user training materials when required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration experience supporting an enterprise-level SFDC instance.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • At least 1 year of end-user support experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration and administration, including custom fields and objects, workflows, assignment rules, validation rules, formula fields, deployment, governor limits, roles, profiles, and permissions.
  • Passionate about Salesforce.com; regularly following Salesforce trends and best practices.
  • Experience in driving user adoption and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a high degree of motivation, and deadline-driven productivity.
