Senior Director Talent Acquisition

The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading daily operations for the Cleveland Clinic Talent Acquisition team, which supports more than 24,000 hires annually. This leader will be motivated to provide guidance, direction and support to a group of experienced Talent Acquisition directors and be at the forefront of a growing team of Talent Acquisition professionals making meaningful connections with candidates and influencing the future of healthcare. This leader reports to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, partners with key executive leaders to deliver Talent Acquisition strategy, and is accountable for delivering a modern, effective and efficient TA strategy and implementations. 

   

This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to be an influential leader, affecting patient care across a matrixed, patient-centered organization. A leader in this role will work directly with leaders across the Caregiver Office to transform and enhance the ways the organization attracts, engages and welcomes caregivers each day. 

  

A caregiver in this role works Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., fully on-site. 

  

A caregiver who excels in this role, will: 

  • Direct and supervise the enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition team. 

  • Build, lead and manage the growing recruitment team – including accountability of achieving performance requirements. 

  • Develop and oversee Talent Acquisition strategy and program that align with organizational goals and the core mission and values of the organization. 

  • Advise Talent Acquisition Directors and hiring leaders on innovative strategies, effective and efficient processes and market/hiring trends. 

  • Proactively conduct ongoing market research and analysis to have a clear understanding of industry trends in the global healthcare environment and workplace. 

  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field 

  • 10 years of professional and functionally relevant experience, including 5 years of management experience in Human Resource, Talent Acquisition or related environment 

  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Master’s degree 

  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision 

  • Strong operations background, or strong healthcare recruiting experience, in a large, matrixed organization 

  • Operations or Talent Acquisition experience in different US markets 

  • Proven experience managing leaders (managers and directors)
