We are seeking an individual with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in Employee benefits to join our growing Employee benefits Consultancy and Private Client team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage Employee benefit structures (Insured pension arrangements and Group Risk schemes) for a portfolio of our corporate clients.

Position Highlights

Key responsibilities include:

  • being the first point of contact for some of our group pension and risk schemes, working with the Relationship Director in relation to the day-to-day management of the scheme

  • preparation of material for client meetings and follow on material as required

  • facilitate member presentations and member one to one review meetings

  • ongoing management of new business cases, liaising with the relevant providers on the implementation of both corporate and individual products

  • work with the Business Unit Director in the management of our servicing team

  • provide a high level of administrative and advisory support to the Business Unit’s Managers and Directors

  • liaise with all third party service providers including Trustees and Insurance Companies to ensure client requests and actions are processed and completed in a satisfactory manner

  • adhere to company policies, procedures and controls to ensure deliverance of excellent service

  • working with clients to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and benefit structures are compliant

  • assisting with creation and implementation of workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance client experience.

Qualifications

The candidate must have successfully completed the QFA exams. As part of their ongoing learning and development, the successful candidate will be required to build on their technical knowledge by completing further studies

  • strong analytical skills

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • self-starter, productive, works well with a team and independently

  • ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and requirements with keen attention to detail

  • excellent project management skills with ability to prioritise and track multiple tasks

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular word, excel and powerpoint.

  • portfolio management experience

  • A good understanding of the relevant underlying Pensions legislation and regulatory environment
