C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting new customers and closing core and strategic business within the medium-sized segment. This highly competitive sales role requires strong persuasion skills, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are looking for someone who understands customers' business challenges and supply chain goals, using that information to generate demand and develop tailored solutions that deliver value and support the customer’s business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities

  • Generate revenue and maintain a pipeline to meet or exceed net revenue goals

  • Execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations

  • Use commercial and solution-based approaches to selling

  • Establish multiple contacts and build relationships within prospects' organizations

  • Stay informed of customers' business, industry, and sector to identify opportunities and articulate value

  • Understand market conditions and competitive landscape to provide effective transportation solutions

  • Partner with customers to gather information and offer tailored solutions

  • Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer

  • Leverage customer-facing technology to match customer needs and increase process efficiency from day one

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years of previous consultative sales experience

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50%

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in negotiation and sales strategies

  • Strong presentation and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Creative and strategic thinker

  • Skilled in establishing and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders

Compensation Range

$49,000.00 - $101,900.00
