The Record to Report (R2R) Global Process Owner (GPO) will lead the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the global R2R processes, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s financial objectives and compliance requirements. This role is pivotal in driving process standardisation, optimization, and automation across all BUs/regions. The GPO will work closely with BU and functional finance teams, DTS, ACE and other stakeholders to implement best practices, enhance efficiency, and maintain the integrity of financial data.

The Role
Process Leadership and Governance:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive global R2R process framework, ensuring it aligns with the company's financial strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and govern global policies, procedures, and standards for R2R processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of R2R processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to optimize and streamline R2R processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging BU & functional Finance teams to identify and act on opportunities for process enhancements.
- Conduct regular process reviews and audits to ensure adherence to global standards and identify opportunities for automation.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with BU & Functional finance teams, Finance Evolution, Finance Systems, ACE and other key teams to ensure cohesive process implementation and management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for R2R-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between regions, promoting best practices and consistency in R2R processes.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage global R2R projects, from concept through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of R2R systems and tools.
- Coordinate with Finance Systems to manage system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting related to R2R processes.
- Oversee change management efforts associated with R2R process improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of R2R processes
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of R2R initiatives, process performance, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that R2R processes are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with R2R processes, implementing controls and monitoring mechanisms to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
- Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and standards, adjusting processes as necessary to maintain compliance.
The Person
- Previous experience of process improvement and standardising
- Strong senior stakeholder management experience and relationship building
- Project lead experience from concept to implementation
- Background in Finance/Accounting
- Able to digest, collate and clearly communicate complex ideas and information
- High emotional intelligence (EQ and SQ), ability to see and understand differing stakeholder perspectives
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, innovative, transformative mindset and embraces change
- Pro-active, resilient, motivated and results oriented
