Job Description

  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

  • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

  • Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment.

  • Orders supplies with purchase requisition according to work orders.

  • Competent with machinery sequence of operation to locate problem area(s).

  • Competent with mechanical fitment, thread sizing and assembly.

  • Make repairs and modifying Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Methanol and Natural Gas systems.

  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

  • Examines form and texture of mechanical parts to detect imperfections.

  • Inspects used mechanical parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

  • Repairs and replaces defective mechanical parts.  Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.  Lubricates and cleans parts.

  • Starts devices to test their performance.

  • Records maintenance actions performed in computerized maintenance system.

  • Assist other associates as directed by the Team Leader and / or Supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience but will to train.
