As Business Development Manager for Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNB), Cloud Segment you will drive the worldwide inbound and outbound marketing and business development activities for key customers and partners in the cloud compute / hyperscale space.

You will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams and technology enablers to develop and implement plans to successfully grow the business. In this position, you will analyze segment and marketing data, align existing products as well as document requirements for next generation products.

The Cloud segment product portfolio encompasses a comprehensive range of DDR, LPDDR and HBM based memory solutions which support the requirements of our end market focus. Based on growing opportunities across Cloud and AI, the structural definition, development, and delivery of a market leading Cloud strategy is a key imperative for CNBU and Micron!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic direction to ensure Micron is a trusted advisor and preferred supplier with key Cloud customers across DDR, LPDDR and HBM technologies
  • Drive and advocate Cloud solution requirements within Micron’s product definition and roadmap process as well as help define solutions to fulfill these needs
  • Collaborate with enablement teams to ensure that Micron has the right portfolio and is crafted into relevant platforms prior to adoption from key end customers
  • Based on comprehensive, structured business development methodologies, drive product focused growth plans and identify new customers and products
  • Work with key Sales and Field Engineering teams to own the customer qualification and ramp schedule to support the business plan
  • Support Product Marketing functions in the development of TAM, SOM and long-term forecasting as well as participate in all demand forecast and business planning activities
  • Work with all key internal partners including Sales, Operations and Supply Chain to achieve business plan targets

Qualifications and Education:

  • 5+ years of business development experience in a related field
  • College degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or business/marketing coupled with significant technical experience
  • Proven record of success in strategic customer engagement, market segmentation growth and ecosystem development
  • Experience working within Business Development, Product Marketing or Product Management with large electronics customers or ecosystem partners
  • Proven track record to working with multi-functional teams
  • Clear capability to drive and evangelize sophisticated concepts from both a technology and business perspective
  • Understanding of server system architecture, data center design, Memory device design, applications engineer and technical sales
  • Travel up to 10%-20% may be required

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$116,500.00 - $263,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
