WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We need someone like you to help us on different fronts:

  • Develop Advanced SQL Solutions: Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts. Utilize advanced SQL techniques, including dynamic SQL, to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.

  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Implement data governance principles to maintain high data quality. Manage metadata and track data lineage to ensure data accuracy and reliability across all databases.

  • Conduct In-Depth Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Apply strong analytical thinking to uncover underlying issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Support Data Integration Projects: Contribute to projects involving Snowflake, Azure, and Power BI by applying your expertise in SQL and data management.

  • Maintain Documentation and Reporting: Document SQL scripts, ETL processes, and data governance practices. Provide clear and comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes.

  • Exhibit Meticulous and Inquisitive Mindset: Consistently display attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Persistently investigate to find root causes and do not settle for superficial answers.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant fields

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field or relevant certifications

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Advanced English Proficiency: High-level spoken and written English skills (minimum equivalent to B2).

  • Expert SQL Skills Are Essential: Mastery in creating complex queries and utilizing advanced analytical functions of databases (e.g., SnowSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar). Proficiency in dynamic SQL will be particularly valued.

  • Meticulous and Inquisitive Mindset: Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to see cause and effect. You persistently dig deeper and don't settle for obvious answers. A keen attention to detail and a desire to learn are essential.

  • Knowledge of Data Governance Principles: Understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.

  • Nice to have:

    • Prior experience as a data engineer or in a related role, ideally with experience in Snowflake, Azure, and Power BI projects.

    • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python.

    • Good level of Spanish.
