We interact and support sellers to improve their experience, tailoring our approach to meet each customer where they are at in the process. Our team is responsible for delivering an outstanding consumer experience and tapping into our expertise to get every customer moving in unlocking their next chapter. We are central to the B2C mission of integrating offerings across the Zillow platform, making it easier for customers to sell their homes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls and written tasks for customers looking to sell and potentially buy homes.
  • Directly contact sellers to discover their needs and offer solutions using Zillow’s products and services.
  • Help customers navigate obstacles with exceptional communication skills, providing a consultative experience.
  • Get customers connected to the right Zillow products (a local Premier Agent partner, OpenDoor for a cash offer, or to ZHL for information on financing their new home after they’ve sold their existing one!) through an understanding of real estate and a dedication to creating a best-in-class consumer experience.
  • Deliver an extraordinary customer experience and establish relationships with your customers that create the optimal environment for transactions to occur.
  • Drive accountability for yourself and your team through proactive engagement with your results and active involvement in team discussions and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance to real estate norms, policies, and regulations to the highest degree.
  • Possess an understanding of the real estate business to be able to accurately identify customers’ priorities and guide them to the right offerings to fit their needs.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and respond to changes in the business with agility

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $25.30 - $40.50 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications

  • Active real estate license(s) in AZ and willingness to acquire licensing in multiple (maximum: 5) states
  • 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing role
  • 1+ years of sales/demand generation experience
  • Must be comfortable conducting both engaging and authentic inbound and outbound sales calls and skilled in discovery, handling initial reluctance, and objection handling.
  • Ability to storytell and provide recommendations to sellers that meet their needs through establishing trust in Zillow products.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, knowing how to actively listen and use objections as a space to ask more questions.
  • Must be able to interact with 3rd party stakeholder information and processes with integrity.

  • Willing to work flexible schedules that include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
