Here you will interact with Lokomotiv Kurastyru Zauyty (LKZ) employees on a daily basis to implement integration plans. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of HR initiatives and support a dynamic team.

Who will you be working with?

Our HR team is dedicated to fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with employees, managers, and other stakeholders, providing essential support to ensure seamless HR processes and successful organizational change initiatives.

You will be located at the LKZ Plant, A139 street, Astana, Kazakhstan.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the HR team, you will be responsible for supporting organizational change initiatives, building strong HR cycle processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Your role will include managing employee relations, enhancing employee engagement, and coordinating training and development programs. You will report to the Regional HR Business Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR excellence.

What do we want to know about you?

  • University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in similar roles, with a strong understanding of HR principles including employee relations, talent acquisition, development, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with employees and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); experience with Power BI and any HR system is an advantage.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Change Management and Integration:
    • Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring efforts.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration processes.
    • Communicate changes effectively to employees and stakeholders, addressing concerns and facilitating transition.
  • Building Strong HR Cycle Processes:
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs for the plant.
    • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
    • Coordinate training programs to support employee integration and development.
    • Coordinate pre-employment screening and background checks.
    • Administer performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices and strategies for performance improvement.
    • Assist in developing performance improvement plans and monitoring progress.
    • Identify training and development needs for employees at the plant.
    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions on topics such as leadership development, technical skills, and compliance training.
    • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • HR Administration and Compliance:
    • Support and maintain accurate employee records and HR IS.
    • Prepare reports on HR metrics and key performance indicators for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Address employee relations issues and conflicts, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
    • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances as needed.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention:
    • Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention.
    • Organize employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
