This Program Manager will also support Cancer Services at Dearborn, Taylor, Trenton, and Wayne.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with patients in a healthcare system. Oncology experience and knowledge is a plus!

Scope of work:

This position will serve as the Cancer Services Program Manager. The role will support clinical and programmatic development of cancer services in addition to community outreach and quality improvement. The Program Manager will partner with the Director of Cancer Services and Physician leaders to enhance departmental operations and execute strategic initiatives. The individual is responsible for building and developing initiatives and plans to market and promote new and existing services, coordinate support programs and events, and aide in coordinating committee work to achieve goals and metrics. This includes working with hospital leadership, planning, marketing, communications, and other departments to gather, analyze and present key data to work on performance improvement initiatives and improvements. This position reports to the Manager or Director of Cancer Services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business Administration or related field Required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, program management Required.
  • Project management certification Preferred.
