About the Role

As a product manager for newsletters and alerts, you will build and grow a newsletters and alerts ecosystem that supports the goals of Dow Jones consumer news brands, including the Wall Street Journal, Barron's and Marketwatch. Reporting to the Product Director for User Services, you will be responsible for planning, defining and executing against the roadmap. You will work collaboratively with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders, including editorial, sales and marketing, to ideate and deliver engaging newsletters and alerts experiences. You are a creative self-starter, multi-skilled in content strategy, advertising and technology. You pride yourself on delivering features on-time and without compromising quality. You are able to efficiently manage multiple initiatives concurrently, while effectively communicating to stakeholders throughout the product development process.

This is a hybrid role based in our New York City office.

You Will :

  • Work cross-functionally with editorial, sales and marketing to prioritize and execute business and editorial requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Support subscriber and non-subscriber engagement through design, experimentation and launch of newsletters and alerts growth strategies
  • Make product enhancements and optimizations to increase revenue from both advertising and subscriptions
  • Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback regarding new products and enhancements
  • Work closely with software developers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and measure KPIs for success
  • Other duties as assigned

You Have :

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally working on newsletters, alerts or other B2C user engagement products
  • Passion and knowledge about digital media, news and investing
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research
  • Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers
  • Proven ability partnering with a technology organization

Pay Range: $115,000 - $155,000
