Murex Americas is looking for a Presales Consultant based in Santiago de Chile office to be part of a growing team whose purpose is to best assist business development teams in North America and LATAM to acquire new accounts and expand existing ones, with the LATAM region being the primary focus.
You will be responsible for a wide range of professional services (PS) and Managed Services (MS) related presales activities. This includes:
Leading the PS and MS offerings as part of prospects’ RFI/RFP answers
Executing PS and MS demos (e.g. Murex implementation methodology, Murex support model, Murex SaaS offering, Murex Upgrade as a Service program, Murex Continuous Integration Managed Service etc.), including but not limited to R&R/RASCI, HLP topics
Building and maintaining PS and MS presales artefacts (slidedecks of all service offerings in Spanish, local database of MS t-shirt quotes provided as well as service proposals once prepared by ILC, implementation use cases from past projects, etc.)
What you’ll do
Pre-sale to Prospects
Ensure all Service Offers meet client expectations, maximize Murex revenues, protect Murex interests, comply with Murex vision and Murex engagement with parties (Client/SI/Murex) is formalized
Make sure that major risks and Murex commitments related to the delivery are under control and shared with internal stakeholders
Build trust with the client/prospect sponsors to secure a Murex engagement
Promote and present delivery methodology and the delivery of innovations to the right prospects (new services, products, methodologies, ...)
Provide Bizdevs with t-shirt sizing for MS and implementation use cases for PS during early stage of Presales
Hand-over data gathered during early stage of presales to the appointed PM from the Instance Life Cycle (ILC) domain when Murex is officially declared as the preferred vendor by the prospect, so that ILC’s PM can lead the pre-scoping workshop with assigned SA and SLs, perform detailed estimations with the domains after the workshop, and prepare the final Service Proposal.
Ensure the overall presales process defined by the domain is followed by all parties involved
Industrialize the PS presales activities
Proactively improve methodology, project quality management, services offer based on past presales
Proactively prepare and update artefacts based on past projects to help support Bizdev realistic use cases to share with prospects: implementation use cases
Provide feedback to AMER Service Presales Manager on what is well perceived by prospects in the LATAM region, what is not, and collaborate with AMER Services Presales Manager to help push for making the offer evolve, etc, by providing feedback to Murex’ Service offer and ILC teams on gaps, risks, concerns observed from opportunities.
Collaborate with fellow Murexians
In the region:
Services Presales Manager, other Presales domain fellows & Bizdevs, in order to effectively tackle RFx, demo and POC
ILC, to handover presales work to appointed Project Manager, to receive updates from Service Offer domain colleagues to update presales materials accordingly, and to provide feedback on the various MS offerings to Service Offer colleagues
Globally:
Presales Services leads from other regions to collaborate, share experiences, and streamline services presales processes globally wherever it makes sense
Service offering SBIs, to contribute to/and learn from the Go-To-Market functions representing presales capacity, ensuring services presales needs are properly constructed and defined
Who you are
Murex (or related) project management experience with at least 3-5 years of experience
A well-rounded knowledge of services Murex (or related) can sell (project pre-scoping, project implementation, frequent upgrade, continuous integration managed service) and delivery modes (on-premises, SaaS, Cloud)
Proven ability in showcasing Murex (or related) PS and MS offer to prospects
Skills in establishing, developing, and maintaining key relationships during demos
Creativity to propose new, ‘out-of-the-box’ services when relevant
Willingness for regular business travel
Autonomy & creativity: you are expected to bring solutions
Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines, multi-tasking
Motivated to promote and apply internal Presales process throughout the entire lifecycle of an OPP
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
Native Spanish speaker, with great fluency in English
