Responsibilities:

  • Build organizational capability to support business priorities with strong employee relations and business partnering focus (15%)
  • Collaborate with corporate HR teams in the areas of talent acquisition, total rewards, and HR Technology to drive desired results (15%)
  • Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development (15%)
  • Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes (15)
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and internal audit requirements (5-10%)
  • Support and participate in ongoing global HR projects, processes, and programs (25%)
  • Ability to travel, when needed, to other California Offices (San Diego, Irvine) (5-10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a high speed, high growth environment; BA/BS in related field; MA/MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • PHRca or SHRM California Law HR Specialty Certification is highly preferred
  • Deep experience in data analysis and process improvement
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company, managers and employees
  • Empathic, diplomatic, and win/win approach when dealing with management issues
  • Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well independently and proactively, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role - no job too big or too small
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization
  • Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $72,500 - $105,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
