Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.
This role sits within the Customer Service Network (CSN), Distribution Strategy and Voice of Customer team, which is accountable for developing the strategic roadmap for CSN. CSN refers to the branch distribution channel encompassing over 650 CBA branches, 4,000+ workforce of customer service, supported by CBA’s state of the art technology and data capabilities.
Do work that matters
As the Manager for CSN Distribution Strategy, you will assist in the development of the strategic roadmap of the future branch model, leading multiple strategy and design projects within CSN (e.g. branch strategy, format design, distribution transformation, etc) to achieve this objective.
Your role will be to:
Contribute to setting and implementing the strategic direction for CSN
Communicate CSN’s strategy and progress towards the vision in written materials for senior leadership
Understand and shape business problems / areas of opportunity in CSN and determine solutions / recommendations. This will assist in the design of the CSN strategic agenda, including developing a future Branch capability delivery roadmap that is consistent with the overall RBS Strategy.
Conceptually design solutions to address problems / opportunities whilst considering the impacts across other businesses
Lead Proof of Concepts for strategic projects and drive the design of conceptual solution
We’re interested in hearing from people with;
A Bachelor degree in business, economics, science, design, engineering, psychology or a similar field OR service design / human centre design experience
Consulting experience gained within a top tier firm or alternatively strategy experience gained within banking or another customer centric industry (minimum ~3 – 5 years business experience)
Strong written and verbal communication tailored for executive leadership
Advanced strategic thinking skills, including a structured approach to problem solving
Advanced approaching problems with a customer centric angle
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work and deliver outcomes in ambiguous or challenging environments
