Job Description:

Join CoreLogic as a Vendor Manager in which you will support operational governance for CoreLogic’s critical vendors with a focus on large outsourcing engagements. The scope of operational vendor governance covers seven core functions as outlined below:

  • Transition & project management
  • Knowledge management
  • Demand & forecast management
  • Service performance Management
  • Issue & dispute management
  • Change control management
  • Compliance management
     

You will be accountable for cultivating and strengthening collaborative working relationships with senior executives, operational leadership, and process owners from CoreLogic and vendor organizations across geographies and functional lines. You will be the Strategic Deals and Vendor Management (SDVM) point of contact for operational vendor governance related inquires, requests, and escalations from in-scope CoreLogic BUs and vendors.

In addition, you will support the design and implementation of CoreLogic’s overall vendor strategy, which includes various projects to establish, remediate, terminate, and/or transition vendor relationships.   

Operational Governance responsibilities:

Relationship Management

  • Act as the liaison between CoreLogic and vendor teams. Cultivate and strengthen collaborative working relationships with internal and vendor stakeholders at all levels, from team leads to senior executives.
  • Support and lead joint governance forums between vendor and CoreLogic stakeholders (e.g., Monthly Service Delivery Meetings).
  • Continually monitor, assess, and improve internal customer satisfaction level.
     

Service Performance Management

  • Monitor supplier service performance against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • In case of SLA failure, facilitate root cause analysis and supervise the execution of a Corrective and Preventive Action Plan.
  • Manage Service Level modification, reprioritization, and creation process through the governance framework.


Compliance Management

  • Support operational change control.
  • Monitor vendors’ adherence to established controls.
  • Support vendor audits and risk remediate efforts.
  • Validate vendor invoices against consumption, service levels, and other relevant financial drivers.
  • Facilitate joint business continuity planning, testing, and refresh process.
     

Change Control Management

  • Support and participate in the end-to-end change control process, including request intake, prioritization, impact assessment, approval review, and documentation management.
     

Issue and Dispute Management 

  • Act as the first point of escalation for service performance issues and customer complaints. Manage end-to-end process from initial identification to resolution through the appropriate governance mechanism.
     

Transition & project management

  • Lead or support transitions as required.
     

Project responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation of assigned small to medium sized projects and deliverables, from initial design to final execution.
  • Develop detailed work plans, milestones, resource requirements, and status reports. Work closely with key project stakeholders to understand and prioritize business objectives, requirements, and constraints; navigate across business and functional lines to drive stakeholder alignment towards desired outcomes.
  • Own project governance meetings and facilitate project working sessions.  
  • Anticipate, report, and mitigate potential project risks.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent job experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in vendor management, project management, or operations management.
  • Strong ability to work effectively across functions, business units, cultures, and time-zone.
  • A sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with the capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands.
  • Solid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-directed and results-oriented; strong bias for execution.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
