Role Overview:
The Business Operations Analyst will facilitate the coordination between Finance, Procurement, and the Product and Technology teams. This role involves managing purchase orders, tracking expenditures, and ensuring alignment across departments to support seamless operations and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in alignment with departmental needs.
Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as a point of contact between Finance, Procurement, and Product and Technology teams, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Order Tracking: Monitor and update the status of purchase orders, addressing any delays or discrepancies and liaising with vendors and internal teams as needed.
Financial Coordination: Collaborate with the Finance team to track expenditures, reconcile purchase orders with invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Process Facilitation: Assist in streamlining procurement processes and workflows, providing support for cross-departmental initiatives and resolving any process-related issues.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain reports on purchase order status and financial impacts.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any procurement or financial issues that arise, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure prompt and effective solutions.
Other Duties as Assigned: Perform any additional tasks, responsibilities, or special projects that may be required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization or as directed by management. This may include activities outside the primary scope of your role to support the team's success and adapt to changing business needs.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business operations, procurement, or financial coordination, with a focus on managing purchase orders and cross-functional communication.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle and advanced Excel skills, including experience with data analysis and formulas.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with procurement or financial management software.
Understanding of procurement and financial processes and principles.
Salary: $75K - $90K + Bonus
