As the Sr. Franchise Strategy Manager, you will support Walt Disney World’s growth model delivering commercial and franchise needs assessments, commercially viable product recommendations, and long-term growth options in partnership with Commercial Strategy, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Insight Measurement & Analytics, Global Development, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Finance.

This is a Full-Time position.

What You Will Do:

It’s our mission to deliver commercial product strategies rooted in consumer and business analytics and insights, optimizing long-term profitability and guest experience. Along with managing these product strategies, you will help champion an energizing culture of excellence, inspiration, and ownership.

Every day as a Sr. Franchise Strategy Manager is unique, challenging, and fulfilling! On any one day you might:

  • Build franchise strategies and experiences working closely with cross-functional partners in building compelling cases to present to key clients, partners, and executives

  • Develop Site-wide franchise experience roadmaps based on site audience priorities and associated strategic franchise data and consumer insights, as well as The Walt Disney Company priorities and content slate

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with key client groups including Finance, Walt Disney Imagineering, Industrial Engineering, Disney Live Entertainment, Consumer Insights Measurement & Analytics, Revenue Planning & Optimization, Marketing Strategy, and Sales Solutions as well as the greater Walt Disney Company to ensure comprehensive and vetted recommendations

  • Manage the execution and implementation of approved franchise initiatives, independently leading partners, and processes to ensure seamless new product creation and delivery

  • Effectively prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with the proven ability to clearly define and articulate the objectives and necessary steps to move forward complex bodies of work

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least five plus years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, integrated planning, brand management, finance, franchise, marketing, innovation, or digital product management

  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

  • Strong financial and analytical competence that leans into a data-driven approach to identify franchise insights to support strategy and experience recommendations.

  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, including ability to manage a large volume of complex work effectively and efficiently, prioritizing continually to ensure business results are achieved

  • Proactively identify business risks and opportunities, creating a plan to substantiate planned revenue growth

  • High emotional intelligence with a proven ability to build strong partnerships and deliver results across various teams while integrating diverse perspectives, oftentimes with a need to influence without formal ownership

  • A gift for translating complex problems into elegant solutions, articulating compelling stories, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver presentations with poise, confidence and authentic style to senior executive leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts use of product franchises, characters, and experiences

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other quantitative field or equivalent

Preferred Education:

  • Master's Degree or MBA
