About you and this role - What you would do in this role 

Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Sales Specialist based in Mexico City with special focus in the Cosmetics and Footwear segment of ICT Business (Infrastructure/Consumer/Transportation), part of the Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP).

The incumbent focuses on serving and facilitating the management of medium and small accounts in Mexico and Andean Region.

The Account Manager to take this role will be the Brand Owner seller for the Cosmetics Market.

Responsibilities

  • Make the customer journey and experience: easy, effective and enjoyable. Deliver against CXI targets.

  • Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.

  • Negotiation is key: Managing prices across the customer portfolio

  • Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region

  • Search new product development opportunities within the market.

  • Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.

  • Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.

  • Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.

  • Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development.

  • Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in combination of Sales, Technical or marketing.

  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial background.

  • Resiliency and fight for growth mindset.

  • Builds excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Focuses on both the short-term results and long-term goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
