Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will work on developing innovative solutions to enhance user experience and streamline processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the development and implementation of new features. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality. - Troubleshoot and debug applications. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. • 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development. (Specific years of experience will be considered for SSE vs TL roles.) • Proven experience with Temenos UXP platform. (Crucial for this transformation role) • Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including asynchronous programming, closures, and DOM manipulation. • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js - specify desired framework if any). • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Experience leading or mentoring junior developers (for TL role). • Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript code within the Temenos UXP environment. • Lead and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for existing applications. • Integrate Temenos UXP with other systems using JavaScript and related technologies. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to JavaScript and Temenos UXP. • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and QA, to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in JavaScript and Temenos UXP. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. • Understand and work within Agile methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Temenos Quantum UXP. - Strong understanding of front-end development technologies. - Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. - Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript & UXP. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
