JR56097 Product Quality Engineering Manager

As a PQE Product Quality Manager, you will be directing and sustaining Product Quality team in PQE. The primary goal of the Product Quality Manager is driving the product quality improvement through the improvement of the key business processes or directly control product quality such as Deviation Material Management, Outgoing Quality Control, RMA (Return Material Authorization), PARAM and WLR (Wafer Level Reliability) test. The manager is also responsible for performance management of Product Quality team members. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Drive continuous improvement of Product Quality by improving the business process and tools for Deviation Material Management, Outgoing Quality Control, RMA, PARAM and WLR test. 

  • Working with Fab organizations and R&D on alignment of key business processes and on issues that are key to the continued success of the Fab. 

  • Working with world-wide organizations for benchmarking and alignment of the key business processes. 

  • Build positive relationship with Global Quality groups. 

  • Conduct performance management and professional development of the team members. 

  • Provide regular feedback to the members through one-on-one meetings and performance reviews. 

  • Develop ambitious performance goals and effectively communicate them to team members. 

  • Establish good cultures and working environment within Product Quality team that is aligned to Micron values. 

  • Working with Training personnel to develop Product and Process Quality related training materials needed by department personnel. 

  • Promote and enable a safe and positive working environment. 

  • Working with PQE Section Manager to ensure accurate staffing levels are maintained to meet the expectation from the customers. 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Solid understanding of the responsible business processes and systems in Micron, Deviation Material Management, Outgoing Quality Control, RMA, PARAM and WLR test.  

  • Able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks both tactical and strategic in nature. 

  • Proven ability and willingness to continuously learn and improve skills. 

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build strong peer relationships. 

  • Make decisions, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems and address root causes. 

  • English ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. 

  • “Team builder” who understands effective team dynamics and distributed responsibility. 

  • Skills to solicit feedback, accept input and analyze success/failure in order to increase the effectiveness of you and your team. 

  • Need to have Fab Engineering background in roles of either Process Integration Engineering, Process Equipment Engineering or Quality. 

  • Solid time management skills. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Previous leadership experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, combination of education and industry experience is helpful.
