WHO YOU ARE:
Sr. SQL Server developer having expertise in writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL packages and stored procedures in both Oracle and SQL Server databases. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex SQL code, ensuring efficient performance, and collaborating with application developers to design robust database solutions. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Develop, write, and maintain SQL packages and stored procedures in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing SQL code to ensure functionality and performance.
• Optimize the performance of stored procedures, ensuring efficient execution and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.
• Perform data analysis and write complex SQL queries to support business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and security through best practices and adherence to database standards.
• Monitor and manage database performance, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay current with database technologies, trends, and best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a relational database administrator with experience/expertise in:
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer, specifically in Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Strong proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in optimizing SQL code and database performance.
• Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL (Oracle) and T-SQL (SQL Server).
• Experience with database management tools and performance monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Should be comfortable with CST shift hours (Night Shift).

BONUS POINTS:

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of indexing, query optimization, and database partitioning.
• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
