Compensation: Annual Salary Range $66,000- $75,000 based on experience
Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager – Partnerships, serves as the primary liaison with sponsors, confirms contractual assets are met, and supplies recaps to sponsors. Oversees, implements, and manages assigned marketing strategies and duties set by the Marketing Director and provides support through various responsibilities. The following responsibilities apply to the portfolio of entities which the marketing department oversees. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, extremely organized and have a great personality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Partnership Marketing & Sponsorships
- Client Management: As the primary liaison between our company of brands and our partners, develop and nurture positive, trustworthy relationships with stakeholders, clients, their agencies, and internal cross-department teams. Ensure clients are “up to speed” and communicated with on a regular basis.
- Partnership Fulfillment: Create and execute marketing campaigns to fulfill all elements within the sponsor contracts, obtaining proper client approvals throughout the process. Be main contact for partner requests and work cross-departmentally (Premium Sales, Box Office, F&B, Operations, etc.) to meet client expectations. Track requests and provide reports to upper management as necessary on contractual items such as number and value of tickets.
- Meetings & ROI Recaps: Understand client goals, strategies, target audiences and reasons for partnership. Hold monthly meetings with each partner (minimum) and provide quarterly reports on value of partnership. Highlight creative and ROI recap on Paid, Owned and Earned assets. Plan and execute an Annual Partner Summit with executive staff, all partners and venue owners, providing them with an annual recap, current updates and vision for the future.
- Sponsorship & Sales: Work closely with VP Sponsorships to develop sales materials and monitor value of owned assets. Meet with, host, and provide site tours with sponsors and potential sponsors. Support Premium Seating Sales as necessary, provide sponsor leads, reports, ideas for venues and attend signature events throughout the region to support partners.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Strategic Management: Understand our various target audiences and strategies/tactics to reach them. Enhance brand visibility, grow followers, engagement, and drive attendance to events. Execute campaigns across various digital platforms and channels such as display, search, social media, emails, advertisements, or podcasts. Develop and maintain editorial content and calendars.
- Content: Create compelling content (posts, video, reshares, collabs, blogs, PR), and execute across channels. Partner with agency team to stay updated on current trends, best practices, and competition. Oversee updates and maintenance of websites, ensuring a seamless user experience and up-to-date content.
- Email Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to promote partners, events, engage with the audience, and drive ticket sales. Manage e-mail blasts for shows and strategic partners. Understand email lists, segmentation, and A/B testing to optimize campaign effectiveness.
Reporting & Production Support:
- Reporting: Pull research data/analytics for meetings as requested and collaborate in development of ongoing reports and presentations, providing insights on best performing efforts and recommendations for improvement. Add information to post-show recaps regarding sponsors, media and marketing.
- Creative & Media: Work with creative teams to develop strategic creative assets. Utilize analytics tools to gather data on campaign performance to improve creative and optimize media campaigns to maximum reach/impact. Some graphic design will be necessary to size and post on website, social media, and in-house LED systems such as the scoreboard and ribbon.
- Production: Work with vendors, brief projects, manage budgets (purchase orders, estimates, track spending), and production timelines ensuring on-time delivery of assets. Understand all specs and manage updating of creative on digital assets.
Communications & Show Support
- Event Production: Ensure advertising, signage, promotions, vendors, etc. are in place, on-site and executing duties, troubleshooting issues that arise. Work events and concerts to ensure marketing and client needs are handled. Manage show announcements, on-sale and ticketing information, keeping websites updated.
- Support: Attend and manage execution of events (evening and weekends included). Manage/execute event day social media. Handle various show marketing responsibilities including checking-in with media/master control and trouble-shoot any issues related to content and digital boards (scoreboard, fascia ribbons, concourse TV monitors, etc.).
- Communications/Press: Coordinate the set up and execution of media events (live segments, interviews) for promotion, host and escort media personnel during event. Manage media personnel expectations, press passes, ensuring day-of rules are adhered to. Upload/post press announcements to website, social media, etc. as needed.
Teamwork & Professionalism:
Adheres to and supports company policies and decisions in a positive manner. Cooperates with personnel in other departments to ensure the best overall experience and top of mind awareness of our guests, clients, entertainers, sponsors, suite owners and local government officials.
As with all positions, other jobs or special projects may arise outside the realm of this job description. Doing other assignments on a fill-in basis is expected of every employee. You may be asked to attend meetings with potential clients, city officials, or assist in organizing special events for sponsors. Attendance at production meetings will be necessary.

Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 4+ years’ experience in client management, sponsorships and large-scale events preferred. Marketing knowledge should include show marketing, digital marketing, social media, website development/ management, email marketing, and advertising.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency using analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Industry-related experience preferred (entertainment, travel/tourism, radio/television, advertising agency).
- Valid U.S. Driver License

- Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and cultivate relationships with stakeholders and constituents.
- Strong ability to lead, develop and streamline processes required to manage multiple projects and tasks using strategic, critical thinking and problem solving. Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively and communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences. Including the development of compelling written, oral, and visual media presentation materials.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-starter that can work under limited supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required, Canva, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Experience with professional photography equipment, and photographing live events is preferred, not required.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the complex; travel between the different offices/venues/events we oversee; stand for long hours during the events; talk and hear. Extended keyboard and computer usage is also required. Heavy phone usage, some stooping, bending, and lifting may be required. This position may require work inside or outside of the building as needed by events.
