Department Overview

The Design & Tools (D&T) team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing exceptional Service Design & innovative technology solutions to enable and empower MSI Centralized Managed Support Operations to meet and exceed customer's expectations. In this role, you will fit in the AI & Architecture team within D&T.


Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will lead and drive the Artificial Intelligence & Automation value stream within D&T (Design and Tools). In this role, you will also serve as a subject matter expert in the AI and ML domain, and own the end to end delivery of the AI value stream. You will work with business operations to understand user requirements and translate them into AI solutions that turbocharge internal and external user experiences. In other instances, you will also be responsible for leading data scientists, building custom predictive and prescriptive ML models for preventative system health checks, system log analytics, automated root cause analysis etc., defining success metrics and measuring the ROI generated by the solutions. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops strategy, vision and roadmap for all AI projects, and drive end to end execution of the strategy 

  • Drives requirements, design and architecture for AI related projects, work with internal customers and with ServiceNow and Salesforce Product Managers

  • Performs features planning, prioritization and implementation

  • Develops AI project charters and statements of work (SOW) and obtains project sponsor/stakeholder buy-in for project initiation. 

  • Develop and execute a clear product vision, defining the long-term roadmap and key product priorities to achieve business objectives

  • Seek and analyze user feedback and data to prioritize features and functionalities on the product roadmap based on their impact and feasibility.

  • Track key product metrics, analyze user behavior, and use data to inform product decisions and improvements.

  • Monitor product execution to ensure all obligations are met and drive projects/feature enhancements to completion.  

  • Collaborate with global  stakeholders (internal and external) to resolve conflicts and drive successful delivery of projects.

  • Manages expectations of project sponsor and stakeholder with timely communication/escalation of risks/issues, their impact, and mitigation/corrective actions.

  • Manage product launches, monitor post-launch performance, and implement necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

  • Recommends corrective actions and implements changes.

  • Build and communicate value of the solutions delivered to the leadership

Technical Experience:

  • Understand and apply various statistical methods for data analysis, EDA,  hypothesis testing, and drawing meaningful conclusions.

  • Understand ML concepts and has applied NLP, GenAI, sentiment analysis, topic modeling etc in real world applications to solve business problems

  • Instilling in models an understanding of the ethical implications of data science, including bias detection, fairness, and responsible data handling.

  • Understand when to leverage GenAI capabilities and LLMs to enhance the agent and customer experience.

  • Serves as industry thought leader in data science and applies deep expertise to drive novel customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's  degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or an IT related field 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product and/or program management roles, with a proven track record of successful product launches and growth

  • Minimum 7+ years experience leading teams to deliver solutions and results

  • Experience of AI/ML streams, e.g., natural language processing, GenAI, computer vision, statistical learning theory and their application in real world situations 

  • Experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce products and features 

  • Experience working with one of the leading public clouds (AWS, Google, Azure)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Be able to work under pressure

  • Ability to Multitask, Prioritize and Manage time effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams, functional groups

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product and/or program management roles
