What we’re looking for:

Silicon Labs is seeking a highly motivated Lead Salesforce.com Administrator and Developer to support the administration and management of mission critical business processes hosted on the Salesforce.com platform. You will work in collaboration with developers, business owners, and other technology teams in support of end-to-end business processes. Using both technical and process expertise, you will provide application support and resolve functional system issues. You will perform analysis to identify enhancements aimed at reducing support issues and work with the development team to implement enhancements. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of judiciously executing functional requests within known technological and practical constraints.

What you will do:

  • Administer, manage, configure, and support enterprise applications hosted on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Review and diagnose issues, taking corrective action/escalating where necessary
  • Identify areas where technical debt can be reduced, and processes can be made more efficient
  • Document issues and enhancement requests with all pertinent information
  • Possesses a deep understanding of platform configuration and functional capabilities
  • Review changes made by other engineers and improve technical solutions as applicable
  • Evaluate potential system implications related to changes and ongoing releases
  • Write and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain system knowledgebase and actively disseminate throughout the organization
  • Mentor team members and advise on best practices
  • Proactively monitor systems for issues
  • Comply with written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls
  • Provide day to day production support of Salesforce.com platform, including user and security management
  • Configure Custom Objects, Custom Fields, and process automation tools (Lightning Flow)
  • Become the lead point of contact for cross platform issues involving multiple enterprise systems

Skills you’ll need:

  • Detailed understanding and hands-on experience in software development lifecycle and methodologies, including traditional Agile and waterfall methods.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in different locations 
  • Experience working with various stakeholders and ability to flush out requirements from goals
  • Self-motivated to keep knowledge and skills in line with latest product features and best practice
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative as needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with variety of software productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, and the security model
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • Holistic understanding of the CRM including Salesforce Release updates
  • Experience with sandbox and production deployments
  • Experience with Salesforce development technologies, including Lightning Web Components, Apex, Visualforce, Flows, REST, APIs, SOQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years working in the Salesforce.com ecosystem
  • Required Salesforce Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Advanced Administrator Certification
    • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II
    • JavaScript Developer I

Qualifications Considered a Plus 

  • Experience working at a semiconductor company
