Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Analyze business requirements and prepare high level technical design documents. Collaborate with team to code and develop a web application process using Java/J2EE technologies such as Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Micro Services, SOAP and REST Web Services, XML, JSON, Junit, and UNIX. Build data-driven systems using core JDBC/Spring JDBC API classes, SQL, stored procedures, and Oracle PL/SQL. Ensure that code meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility as per company standards. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and report control issues with transparency. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Analyzing and developing software utilizing software programming skills including Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Oracle, Maven, Jenkins, Shell scripting, Angular, Tomcat, Webservers, JSON, and XML; Designing and developing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure applications developed are available to users; Developing SQL queries to retrieve data from database to UI and fine tuning stored procedures to fix application performance; Utilizing Spring cloud concepts to provide distributed version configuration, load balancing, API gateway routing, and Kafka message streaming; Resolving high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards; and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process including performing detailed analysis, collecting requirements, coding and unit testing, integration, and system testing. 40 hrs./wk.
