Help us get ahead of disease together with our Laboratory Operations Internship, 2025: 

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Chemistry

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period: January to June 2025

What will you do?

This internship will expose you to Quality Control aspects of the laboratory in a pharmaceutical industry. You will gain experiences and knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Data Integrity understanding.

What will you learn?

  • Understand the basic operations in pharmaceutical laboratory

  • Drive to improve the laboratory resource (man, equipment, chemicals) scheduling programme to meet the challenging testing release target, leveraging on laboratory automation programme

  • Get a good understanding of the laboratory work process, and a keen interest in working with people to improve their work processes

  • Be exposed to interactions with other business functions such as production, engineering, Technical Development and Proceurement & Logistics

  • Widening the knowledge on pharmaceutical industry operations
