We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Administrator to manage and optimize our Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration, configuration, user support, and integration with other applications. They will collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance our agile processes and ensure efficient workflow management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Atlassian tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in scripting and automation. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Administrator to join our IT/Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related applications. The Atlassian Administrator will play a critical role in supporting our development teams and ensuring the smooth operation of our agile processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and issue types
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across Atlassian tools
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and procedures
  • Provide technical support and training to users on Atlassian tools
  • Integrate Atlassian tools with other software applications and third-party tools
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal use of Atlassian products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Atlassian Administrator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, Python, REST API)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100 Jira Administrator) preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL
  • Experience with plugin management and marketplace apps
