Reuters is seeking an individual who can apply their experience in audience segmentation platforms & data transformation to our CDP strategy and operational processes.
About The Role
In this opportunity as Customer Segmentation Lead, you will:
Serve as the centralized point of contact, SME & operational manager of Reuters audience segmentation platforms. Responsible for driving innovation through data transformation & audience segmentation strategies
Be responsible for developing, implementing and executing customer data transformation roadmaps, lead strategy decisions across data migration initiatives & oversee prioritization of transformation & transformation logic or customer data sets & audience segmentation
Develop & maintain platform and data requirements, identify new data sources, develop audience models and enable new activation opportunities
Be responsible for partnering with internal business partners in developing, governing, and implementing audience strategies through cross-functional collaboration within our CDP (Customer Data Platform)
Work hand-in-hand with data engineering to prioritize transformation of high-value data sets & manage data migration timelines & deliverables based on internal prioritization
Create processes for segment audits and governance, data sharing, permissioning & privacy approvals
Require the ability to streamline audience solutions globally while accounting for nuanced use cases and various global constraints
Stay apprised of the security requirements and implementation for the platform.
Stay apprised of high-level product roadmap initiatives and identifying strategic opportunities for testing
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Customer Segmentation Lead if your background includes:
5+ years of relevant business/industry work leading customer segmentation and audience delivery processes and strategies
Strong analytical skills and capability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Strong understanding of customer profile segmentation and experience in 360-degree view of customers in CDP for further analytical processing and decision making
Hands-on knowledge of SQL, data modelling, data warehouses & understand of ETL, Reverse ETL, data quality / cleansing and identity resolution. Knowledge of Snowflake and DBT are a plus
Experience with customer segmentation platforms, marketing technology, modern & medallion data architectures, and the evolution of people-based marketing
Strong interest in AI and potential applications to increase efficiencies or governance within customer data segmentation environments
Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams and coordinating resources to deliver projects
