The Manufacturing Trainee Associate position provides individuals with the opportunity to receive training in tasks related to our assistant positions, supporting press, lamination, slitting, pre-press, and material handling areas. The probationary period for this position is 120 days. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the trainee may be offered a full-time benefited position.

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill entry-level manufacturing positions in the Rhinelander, WI plant. These positions are initially temporary with the potential to turn permanent.

If permanent status is achieved, benefits will then be available.

The position provides a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience working with a skilled workforce all while improving technical & mechanical skills.

Our entry level positions include tasks such as:

  • Perform physical tasks

  • Work with equipment and machinery

  • Clean parts

  • Meet production requirements

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

​Minimum Requirements

  • lift 50 pounds

  • ability to work while bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching

  • read and apply written information including via computer

  • ability to use small hand tools for making fine adjustments

  • ability to make quick decisions under pressure

  • must be 18 years of age
