This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Internet Products & Services – Internet Essentials team designs products and solutions to make broadband more accessible and affordable for customers with limited incomes. Since its launch over a decade ago, the Internet Essentials program has helped over 10 million homes nationwide connect to the internet, many for the first time. Our team focuses on crafting innovative, customer-friendly solutions to better meet the needs of this segment. We frequently collaborate with different departments across Comcast, including engineering, marketing, finance, digital experiences, legal, and sales.
Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Management Intern who brings a strong work ethic and desire to learn to our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have exposure to real-world product management, including cross-functional team collaboration and end-to-end product lifecycle. You will be focused on helping to explore key opportunities for growth, creating excellent customer
experiences, and supporting all aspects of the business while partnering with employees and leaders from diverse functional backgrounds.
You’ll be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast while we serve a critical segment of our customer base to deliver new experiences and enhance existing processes. You will also help us execute our product roadmap by designing solutions that integrate well into longer-term strategic evolution of the program.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaboratively work with teams across the organization to develop the Internet Essentials product including creating business cases, assessing technical feasibility, establishing consumer value propositions, defining business requirements, and crafting go-to-market strategies, and operational support.
Think strategically and creatively to gather product and customer insights and help define the Product Vision and Strategy.
Analyze and respond to the competitive landscape, ensuring Xfinity’s product offerings remain innovative and relevant.
Translate strategic plans into product roadmaps for delivery.
Maintain a strong focus on customer-centricity throughout the product lifecycle.
Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
