Position Title: Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Downtown Sacramento / Woodland

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient supply chain operation, ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched promptly. This includes filling customer orders on time, making player and custom jerseys utilizing our heat press, and completing accurate inventories of all items within the warehouse.

This position will split time between Golden 1 Center in Downtown Sacramento and our offsite warehouse space in Woodland. Candidates must have reliable transportation to work at either location.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload goods from trucks or shipping containers, verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing slips, and report discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and assist in identifying discrepancies.
  • Accurately pick and pack products for customer orders within specified timeframes to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare shipping documents, such as labels and packing slips, and ensure orders are dispatched to the correct destination within the given timeframe.
  • Inspect goods for defects or damage to ensure only high-quality products are sent to customers. This may involve returning defective items to suppliers.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners. Regular maintenance checks may be required to ensure the equipment is in good working order.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to shipments, tracking orders, and resolving any issues with order fulfillment in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Utilize heat press equipment to create player and custom jerseys according to customer specifications.
  • Aid in the transition of our current warehousing location to our future warehouse location, including setting up equipment and organizing inventory.
  • Provide input and assistance in optimizing warehouse processes and layouts for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any issues or concerns effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Warehouse experience preferred (1-2 years), but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems a plus.
  • Ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Availability/Work Schedule:

  • 24 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Compensation:

  • $17.00/hr
