Join us as a Specialist, Impact, where you'll take charge of managing and executing BCAA’s purpose-led initiatives and events from start to finish. In this role, you'll be instrumental in bringing BCAA’s Purpose to life through both large-scale projects and spontaneous activities. You'll track and measure our progress, ensuring that our purpose resonates across the business and creates meaningful engagement with our Members, staff, and communities. What you’ll do:
Oversee the planning and execution of BCAA’s purpose-led and community impact initiatives, from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with BCAA’s strategic goals.
Collaborate with various departments to advance purpose-driven objectives related to people, communities, and environmental impact.
Facilitate Engagement by organizing and leading meetings, workshops, and consultations to enhance understanding and involvement in BCAA’s purpose journey.
Partner with the Brand team to create and implement community-facing initiatives that reflect BCAA ‘s purpose and impact strategy.
Handle all aspects of event production, including materials, scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
Collect and analyze data on initiatives, track performance, and report on outcomes, making recommendations for improvements.
Support the upkeep of relevant third-party certifications, such as Climate Smart, and suggest ways to enhance BCAA’s purpose-led performance.
Perform general administrative tasks including budget tracking, invoice processing, and document creation, while also managing travel requirements for events.
What you bring:
Working knowledge of GHG Emissions and how to track and report on them.
Post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (eg. Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Social Innovation or related field).
Three to five years of related experience delivering programs successfully and seamlessly on time and on budget; measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and consider interconnections and interdependence between stakeholders, relationships, and domains to address challenges and opportunities for both business and society.
Proficient in social innovation and system-level thinking to advance business and social value, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to co-create a brighter future.
Experienced in organizing cross-functional teams and developing collaborative relationships across organizational levels and disciplines, showcasing exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects successfully.
A clean BC Driver License Class 5 and able to lift over 50lbs.
Comfortable using technology, including advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) and experience in social networking tools/programs (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
Able travel and work at events beyond regular office hours (including evenings and weekends).
Must undergo a criminal background and credit check.

The salary range for this position is $77,763.24 to $97,204.08 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
